I chose one of my all-time favorite songs, "Chod Do Aanchal" from the 1957 movie "Paying Guest." Pretty, pretty song.
Although my sister's reaction was, "Chod...do...Aanchal? Is "Chod do" Korean?" Hee.
And of course there is the "deeper" meaning of "chod do Aanchal" - I'm sure there's some liberating and earth-defying mysticism in there, but I'll save that for the spoken word artists. I just like the song:

not to be crude but you should change the spelling to "Chhod". The other word might be mistaken..:) otherwise brilliant pick of the song
Hey! So glad you started this blog...I love your tagline...and the woman hating at SepiaMutiny almost makes me want to file a change of race form, but it goes deeper than that. Your comments are so wonderful, I'm sure your blog's going to be even greater.
I've been enjoying your commentary on SM, even through the noise that has lately been choking the site.
You seem thoughtful, insightful, and respectful; a combination of -fuls that is not suffered easily most anywhere these days.
